Assign a Number
After purchasing a phone number, you need to assign it to an AI agent. Once assigned, that agent handles all inbound calls to the number and uses it for all outbound calls.
Where to Find It
Dashboard → Phone Numbers → Select Number → Assign Agent
How to Assign a Number to an Agent
- Go to Dashboard → Phone Numbers
- Find the number you want to assign
- Click on the number or select Assign Agent
- Choose the AI agent from the list
- Save
The number is now connected to your agent. Any call to or from that number will be handled by that agent.
One Number, One Agent
Each phone number is assigned to one agent at a time. If you want a different agent to handle calls, update the assignment from the same screen.
What Happens After Assignment
- Inbound — when a customer calls your number, the assigned agent picks up and handles the conversation
- Outbound — when a campaign runs, the assigned agent calls customers from this number
