Common issues with contacts and leads — and how to fix them.
Contacts Not Showing After Upload
Problem: You uploaded a CSV but contacts are not appearing in the list.
Check these:
- Make sure the file is saved as .csv format — not .xlsx or .xls
- Check that your file has Name and Phone Number columns — these are required
- Look for any blank rows in the file and remove them
- Try uploading again after fixing the file
Phone Number Showing as Invalid
Problem: A contact's phone number is flagged as invalid.
Check these:
- The number must include the country code — +91 for India, +1 for US
- Remove any spaces, dashes, or brackets from the number
- Example of correct format: +919876543210 or +91 98765 43210
Duplicate Contacts in the List
Problem: The same contact appears more than once.
How to fix:
- Remove duplicate phone numbers from your CSV before uploading
- If duplicates are already in the system, open each one and delete the extra entry from Contact Management
Lead Status Not Updating After a Call
Problem: A lead still shows no status after the AI agent called them.
Check these:
- Open Dashboard → All Calls and confirm the call was completed (not failed)
- If the call shows as Failed, the agent could not connect — the lead status will not update
- If the call completed, wait a few minutes and refresh the page
CRM Not Receiving Lead Updates
Problem: Lead status or call results are not appearing in your CRM or Google Sheets.
Check these:
- Go to Dashboard → Integrations and check if the connection is active
- Re-connect the integration if it shows as disconnected
- For n8n or Make — check your workflow is turned on
Contact Was Deleted by Mistake
Problem: You deleted a contact and need to recover it.
Unfortunately, deleted contacts cannot be recovered. You will need to add the contact again manually or re-import from your original file.
