Time Slots
Time slots define how long each appointment lasts and how the agent divides your working hours into bookable slots. This determines what options the agent presents to customers.
Where to Find It
Dashboard → Appointment Availability / Appointment Types
Slot duration is set when configuring your Appointment Types.
How Time Slots Work
Your working hours are divided into slots based on the duration of each appointment type. For example:
- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Appointment duration: 30 minutes
- Available slots: 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30 ... and so on
The agent picks from these slots when suggesting times to customers.
Setting Slot Duration per Appointment Type
Each Appointment Type can have its own duration:
Dashboard → Appointment Appointment Types → Add / Edit Appointment Type
For each type, you can set:
- Name — e.g. General Consultation, Follow-up, Lab Test
- Duration — how long the appointment lasts (e.g. 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour)
Buffer Time Between Slots
You can add a buffer between appointments so there is time to prepare before the next customer:
Dashboard → Appointment Booking Rules → Buffer Time Between Appointments
Default: 0 minutes. Set this to 10 or 15 minutes if you need time between appointments.
How Many Slots the Agent Suggests
By default, the agent suggests 3 available time slots to the customer. You can change this in:
Dashboard → Appointment Team & Assignment → Number of Suggestions
