Confirmation Workflow
Before finalising any appointment, HuskyVoice.AI asks the customer to confirm. This makes sure the customer agrees to the date and time before it is locked in.
How Confirmation Works
Once the customer picks a time slot, the agent reads out a confirmation message and waits for the customer to respond:
"To confirm your appointment for [appointment type] on [date] at [time], please say 'confirm' or type 'yes'."
- If the customer says "confirm" or "yes" — the appointment is booked
- If the customer says "no" or wants to change — the agent offers alternative slots
Customising the Confirmation Prompt
You can change the confirmation message to match your business tone.
Dashboard → Appointment Team & Assignment → Confirmation Prompt
The default prompt is:
To confirm your appointment for {{appointment_type}} on {{date}} at {{time}}, please say 'confirm' or type 'yes'.
You can edit this text — but keep the placeholders ({{appointment_type}}, {{date}}, {{time}}) so the agent fills in the correct details automatically.
Turning Confirmation On or Off
If you do not want the agent to ask for confirmation before booking, you can turn it off:
Dashboard → Appointment Team & Assignment → Require Confirmation → Toggle Off
Note: It is recommended to keep confirmation on — it prevents accidental bookings and builds trust with customers.
What Happens After Confirmation
Once the customer confirms:
- The appointment is booked immediately
- It appears in your Appointments calendar
- A WhatsApp notification is sent automatically to the customer with the appointment type, date, and time — so they have all the details on their phone
- Your CRM or connected tool is updated
